(15.10.2008) Wir freuen uns, den Start der "Trophées du Logiciel Libre" (TL09 genannt) zu verkündigen. Die "Trophées du Logiciel Libre TL09" werden mit der Zeremonie der Preisverleihung Ende Mai 2009 enden.
Wie in den vorigen Jahren möchten die "Trophées du Logiciel Libre" wieder einmal die Entdeckung neuer freier Software-Anwendungen in der ganzen Welt ermöglichen und dazu beitragen, ihre Entwicklung zu fördern, indem sie entsprechende Anerkennung von Experten (Internationale Jury), eine weltweite Aufmerksamkeit und finanzielle Unterstützung bringen.
Die "Trophées du Logiciel Libre (TL09)" werden in der Picardie organisiert und wird freie Software in 8 verschiedenen Anwendungsgebieten prämieren: Bildung & Erziehung, Beruf, Wissenschaft, Sicherheit, Hobby & Familie, Technologie & Medienkünste, Webmaster und Innovationen - ausserdem gibt es einen Sonderpreis der Jury und einen Ehrenpreis für ein großes Projekt.

 The Globe2Child project is very original because it includes a trimaran trip around the world on the theme "Offer the world to children" (Nazim Hikmet). At each stage of the trip, the project's initiators will try to teach and learn new Internet and Open Source usages to the people they meet.
Globe2Child is a true human and social adventure: one of the main characteristics of the platform is that it will allow linking together people located everywhere across the globe. |

Support to view chatter's webcam. Recent addition of spell checking. Pidgin is the closest thing to this project. Pidgin does a lot of IM protocols, but has a plainish UI interface. |
